Building simulation

Today, dynamic building simulations of energy consumption, which take comfort and economic dimensions into consideration, are a reliable method of predicting during the early planning stages a building's thermal and energy behavior.

Interdisciplinary specialists in the International SolarCenter offer the service of building simulations for thermal and daylight-exploiting technology for corresponding planning tasks.

Beyond that, the construction and use of an artificial sky is planned. This facility allows building simulations of daylight-exploiting technologies based on the physical architectural models, with the goal of conserving electric power and thus reducing CO2 emissions by optimizing the use of daylight in the non-residential parts of the building.
